The 3486 is the handle component found across the Sievert Pro 86 torch kit range — sold here as a standalone component for replacement, custom kit builds and workshop spares. It is the single-valve handle — designed specifically for precise flame adjustment on smaller Pro 86 burners rather than the high-output roofing applications where a second valve or higher flow is required. The spring-loaded metal knob gives a stable, repeatable setting for fine flame work — particularly relevant for jewellery, silver soldering and precision metalwork applications where the flame needs to be held at an exact level without drifting.
All metal internal components are high-quality brass. The ergonomically designed plastic composite handle has a moulded soft-feel grip for extended professional use. The 3/8" LH BSP male inlet is the standard Pro 86 hose connection. A hose nipple is required to connect a hose and is sold separately. Practical note from Sievert: always switch off at the gas cylinder before turning off at the handle — this allows residual gas to burn through the tube and burner, preventing crystallised gas build-up that can block the jets.
