The Sievert P3444KITX is a heavy-duty, wind-resistant propane blow torch kit featuring an 86 kW propane detail and roofing torch. It has a solid-brass 50 mm burner and a steel-neck tube fitted to the handle. The product also features a hose failure valve, a 4 m (13 ft) reinforced hose and a fixed 4-bar propane regulator. Only suitable for propane. Suitable for all types of hot works including bitumen laying, surface drying, roadworks etc. Also suitable for detail work and pre-heating. Compatible with Calor Gas and Flo-Gas. 1 year warranty.
The P3444KITX falls between the entry level Foker roofing torches and the premium Sievert Promatic in the Sievert 3444 product line. A heavy duty fixed-burner torch based on the same durable components as the Promatic but with a different focus. As opposed to the interchangeable bayonets and piezoelectric ignition on the Promatic, the P3444KITX has a permanent brass burner and steel neck tube attached directly to the handle. This was a deliberate decision by the manufacturer to avoid creating potential weaknesses at the bayonet connections on this type of tool which will be subject to prolonged high output usage during roofing activities. In exchange for losing some of the Promatic's flexibility (quick changing), you gain more reliability and durability.
The most significant operating benefit of using a windproof flame compared to a standard open flame when working outdoors is its ability to create a consistent, controllable flame in windy conditions. This makes it ideal for working in areas that have exposure to wind such as open rooflines, roadwork sites, etc., in addition to other outdoor locations with unpredictable weather conditions. The 3444 produces 86kW of heat at 4 bars with a gas consumption of 6,700 g/h at a 50 mm burner size. The 4 m (13 ft) length hose with built-in hose failure valve allows users safe distance between the torch and cylinder.

Contractors wanting Sievert build quality without the Promatic price point
Why Buy the Sievert P3444KITX?
Windproof when other torches aren't — The 3444 burner design maintains a controlled, stable flame in the wind conditions that routinely affect exposed rooftop and roadwork sites. This is the torch's defining operational advantage over standard open-flame roofing torches.
Fixed burner means nothing to come loose under sustained heavy use — The Promatic's bayonet system gives flexibility; the P3444KITX's fixed brass burner and steel neck tube give absolute durability with no connection point to fatigue or loosen. For a torch used continuously on large projects, that's the correct trade-off.
Sievert quality at the accessible price point in the range — The Promatic system is the premium Sievert roofing torch; the P3444KITX is the Sievert-built heavy-duty option for contractors who want the proven Sievert construction without the Promatic's piezo system and bayonet accessories at the higher price.
