The Bullfinch BBQ Gas Point is really the standard external gas outlet for caravans and motorhomes - its the wall-mounted fitting you'll use to connect a BBQ or outdoor cooker to your vehicle's existing LPG gas supply without having to run a separate cylinder. The way it works is pretty simple - you insert and turn the plug-in tail to lock it in place and the gas starts flowing - remove it and the gas stops. That's a 'no connector, no flow' design for safety's sake. So when you're not using it, there's no open outlet waiting to be forgotten.
Installation isn't too tricky - just need to drill a 60mm hole in the wall of your vehicle, get some 8mm copper pipe in place and secure the LPG hose from the plug-in tail to the appliance. The angled inlet connector is nice to have. Just remember, a Gas Safe registered engineer has to do the installation.
Important Bit: Don't even think about connecting a gas cylinder directly to this outlet to power the vehicle - its a gas outlet only, not a gas supply inlet.
