Cadac 37mbar Propane Regulator for Patio Gas Cylinders
Patio gas bottles use a 27mm valve, which is a completely different socket to the POL screw fitting on standard propane bottles - a bit of a mess. This is the regulator you need if your Calor Patio, Flogas, or Gaslight refillable cylinder has one of these clip-on valves . If that sounds like you - and your cylinder has a clip-on valve - then this is the right bit to connect it to your Cadac appliance.
The 27mm mechanism clicks onto the cylinder valve quickly and easily without messing about with threading or needing any tools. This is way quicker and more straightforward than any old POL screw-on type. The level indicator lets you see how much gas you have left, and also makes it super convenient to check for leaks - saving you the hassle of weighing the cylinder or having to physically shake the thing. The 85cm hose that comes with it has a crimped connection at both ends - which is much stronger than a jubilee clip and stops you getting a dodgy join.
The QR fitting at the other end automatically cuts off the gas when you disconnect it, and the Excess Flow Valve will shut off 90% of the gas if the hose gets damaged in some way - both of these are clever safety features that just work on their own.
